The company has inaugurated on October 6 the new headquarters Manta22 in the former Centro Stile Fiat: an event that adds an important piece in the process of redevelopment of the entire area. The new headquarters will be the central hub of the group and provides services and expertise to support TECNOCAD’s customers worldwide. Already active since January 2017, MANTA22 employs over 100 engineers and technicians from 11 different nationalities.
The history of Tecnocad Progetti, in fact, starts right at Mirafiori, where in 1986 Germano Cini, strong of an experience in the plastics sector and CAD/CAM technologies, launches a new company, destined over three decades to assert itself as a leader in automotive engineering and a reference point for the "car maker" industry, thanks to its ability to cover the entire vehicle development process, from the initial concept to the start of production.
“The company, thanks to this investment, intends to double its turnover by 2020 increasing its national/international business by focusing on new technologies”, said the president and founder Germano Cini.
In support of its business plan, the new headquarters of Manta22 has been equipped with 5 project areas each independent of each other and isolated to guarantee the full confidentiality of the data and activities, for a total of over 400 workplaces; 10 meeting areas; 3 exhibition and presentation halls; 2 modelling boxes; 3 milling areas; metrology room; benchmarking area; mechanical and tooling construction departments; moulding department and assembly area for limited series production.
Tecnocad’s customers will have access to a fully-equipped facility that enables them to have a 360 ° service at the same plant, improving efficiency and quality.
All in the perspective of an enterprise focused on the layout and ergonomics of the workplace in respect of the environmental sustainability.
